Hey so /ck/, I want to start drinking my coffee black. How do I shift my taste away from coffee with sugar and cream to the plain, bitter stuff? I've already started replacing the white sugar with honey, which has a much lower profile in the taste.

What do you currently use to make coffee? If you want to start enjoying it more, try buying some basic equipment, maybe a French press or even just a drip brewer and buy fresh beans and a grinder.

What a coincidence, my girlfriend said she wanted to switch to black just the other day.

Just make sure it's made right, and not awful coffee and it should be easy.

You just need to do it. Suck it up for a week or two and you'll never want to go back. Also helps if you're not sipping black coffee between mounds of twinkies and gallons of soda.
