Here in Pittsburgh we take low-grade deli meat, soggy french fries, bland coleslaw and stuff it between two of the most flavorless, uneatably thick pieces of French bread. We call it a Primantis Sandwich”.

It’s the fucking worst sandwich ever.

These things. Every time I tell someone I'm from Philly they always ask who makes the best cheesesteak like it's really a significant difference between vendors. The meat and rolls are all from the same distributors, the only difference is the type of cheese they use so it comes down to whether you prefer provolone, american or melted plastic. They aren't bad and I'll get them periodically, but there's so much better food that Philly has to offer and the obsession outsiders have with these things is unbearable.

I'd agree with that, roast pork sandwiches are bangin'. I also feel like they have a stronger attachment to the city itself since some of the ingredients in it are less commonly found throughout the rest of the country. The flavor has a lot more depth to it than just grilled meat and cheese slapped onto a roll.

You'll need:
a bundle of collard greens
three cloves of garlic
Three table spoons of butter
salt and pepper to taste.

Wash the collards greens and take the stalk out and cut in strips of bout 1/16 of an inch or as thin as you as you can manage. (you could leave then tick if you wanted, but I prefer them thin)
Crush the garlic
