It's not a matter of not liking bud. Bud is inoffensive as a beer the same way that 70s soft rock is in offensive as music. It's not bad, but there are much much better beers.

Bud has a smooth grain flavor. It is not heavy enough to bloat up your stomach and its not overpowering in hops. Its just a simple refreshing beer that I can kick back and enjoy when all I want to do is relax after work.

becuase its fine, not good, great, or aceptable...its fine......its like about any mass maerket product of its like, it is the narowst version of itself so it can be inofensive to the widest posible market(also part of why they market its optimal serving temperature as ice cold, the point where most of the flavours in a beer are the most generalized and subdued)

this is an easy to understand phenominon which in may reguards says nothing about the merits of the product...the company was simply one of a tiny handful that survived prohibition and becuase wwII rationing conditioned the market for near water like beer, and they had become the biggest producer of such they were poised to take over the market...its a case of right time right place

There's a lot of land here and sometimes I wish we could just suck up the rest of the good euros that want some land and freedoms like their great grandparents had and move forward as one. I really like a lot of euro mythology from Norse to professor tolkiens' (English of course) works and I wish we had the same deep history here that Tolkien worked to create for the U.K. Like the other euro countries. also bud knows its product is so painfuly generic that is spends exorbitant amounts of money on advertisements(a marketing idea wherin a simple prodct sometimes must be overmarketed becuase its eigther forgetable or so indistinguishable from its competition that you need to put your name out constantly to make an impact), more money than many breweries spend on actual beer

there is no shame in cheap lagger, but budd is shit, its all advertisment and boderline monopoly like market conditions/historical factors....the world would be better off with more local beer and less mass market shit.....there are plenty of local places around me that make cheap lagger, and it tastes better

So my dog had to be put down today, he was a beloved family pet for 15 years and everyone loved him. He was a big golden retriever and he had been getting weaker over the years and the vets diagnosed him with brain cancer.
