35-year-old here. I'm officially not a boomer, as you have to be born between 1946 and 1964 to be one of those. I'm right in the spot where Gen X ends and Millennial begins.

Anyway, I don't care for most low-cost pilsner (a.k.a.: piss-colored) beers, but I will drink it if it's free. Although I've lately grown fond of IPAs due to the higher alcohol content, my favorite US macro beer is Yuengling. Pic related says it all.

IPAs are unironically dogshit.
Anybody who likes IPAs would probably equally enjoy drinking lightly flavored handsoap from a tin can and gladly pay $20 for a 6-pack.
The only reason so many companies are jumping on it are because boomers like you will drink anything and it's dirt-shit cheap and easy to make.
