And of you co/ck/s on (or have been on) a meme diet? South Beach, Atkins, Paleo, Veganism, Weight Watchers, Mediterranean, Raw, etc? What was it like? Did you have any side effects? Was it expensive? Hard?

I'm doing Keto right. Pic related is my friend, along with some fontinella cheese, spinach, and hard boiled eggs. I'm about three days in, and I guess the "Keto flu" is starting, but I didn't eat a lot of refined or processed foods, so it's not that bad. I did just finish mowing the lawn though, and holy shit - my sweat stinks worse than it ever has in my life.

Currently doing keto, having been on it for about a year and a half.
3-4 months into it I ended up losing about 40 lbs and currently sitting at a healthy bmi.
Last time I cheated with a carb heavy meal (a few donuts and pizza) I ended up getting Dyshidrosis on my hands and fingers, I don't know if this is a coincidence or directly related to it, but I rarely have cheat days now due to that. However, on keto my face is incredibly clear (makes sense since my blood sugar is low) and I just generally feel a lot better.

I've tried healthy diets that included carbs, but they would still leave me incredibly hungry. I feel as if that's the best benefit of keto, it keeps you fuller longer.

Since so much of my diet is meat, it kinda is. But not outrageous, I spend about $300 per month on food.

I think keto gets a lot of hate on 4chan because it works. I actually appreciate the contrarianism. If there's something wrong with it, the assholes here would eventually find it. I did keto for 2 months and went from 185 pounds to 160 pounds. I took a month break and now I'm back on the keto diet, I'm a week into it. It's a lot easier starting out this time because I already know what the deal is and everything but the first time I did it I felt hungry quicker and would get irritated from the hunger really easily (at the start of the diet, that is) and my breath constantly tasted like rubber or something. So far this time around I haven't felt any side effects which has me worried, am I even in ketosis? I wanna get down to 150 pounds then I'm just gonna count calories

I've thought of doing it, but for the past few months i've been needing to add holes to my belt because it was too loose several times... so it seems like eating whatever i want i'm still slowly losing weight. So I've never really gone on a diet, to be completely honest. I'm not horribly fat, but I am overweight. I've heard a lot about this keto diet, and after looking it up online it seems like something I could do. So, essentially, keto means a diet of meats, vegetables and cheese? It feels a little daunting, especially with the whole "keto flu" thing, but I think I'm gonna try it.

One of my biggest concerns is gonna be cutting cokes out of my diet. What's a good drink to substitute? I was thinking black tea, maybe with some kinda zero calorie sweetener.

Currently I'm going on a test boosting diet because my testosterone was that of like an 80 year old man at my last checkup. I completely avoid plastics and other xenoestrogens/phytoestrogens. Lots of eggs, meat, and Brazil nuts with no dairy or soy or anything that might have an estrogen imitator.

>What is it like?
It's a lot of good, organic food. Three eggs and three strips of nitrate free bacon in the morning with some supplements, steak and spring mix salad with olive oil, Brazil nuts and basalmic vinegar (shit's cash), and then for dinner it's always open ended. Usually some chicken or more steak from the farmers I know who don't put hormones in their meats. Feels good to live away from civilization.

>Did you have any side effects?
I shit more often now, my farts smell awful, and I have a sex drive like that of a rabbit

>Was it expensive?
If I didn't know the nice farmer guys down the road yeah it would have been pretty expensive. They give me eggs and steak and bacon and shit for free though, all that I need to buy is stuff for salads.

>Hard?
In the beginning yeah it was really hard. I went to a banquet the day after starting and I had to turn down a lot of the stuff because it had dairy and soy in it. They had plenty of prosciutto and other meats too though so that was pretty nice.

I totally recommend it honestly. You feel fucking great, you have more energy, not as depressed/moody, more confident, better sex drive, better muscle gain, it's fucking great. At my last checkup I was back up to the top end of the healthy levels of test for a 25-year-old male.
