So apparently adding spices to your coffee grounds before brewing them is a thing now. Has anybody else heard of this?

I've tried a couple of allspice berries and a pair of cinnamon sticks, but what else could I add to improve the taste?

I think the turks use cardamom. Never tried it.

I'd totally throw some vanilla beans in my grinder tho sounds comfy.

I dry up weed stems, grind them with my beans 50/50 and brew coffee with the mixture.

Cinnamon sticks and piloncillo, which are the brown sugar things you see in the ethnic section of the supermarket that look like the legs of a sofa. Or you could just use brown sugar.

They do it this way in Lebanon and Palestine, and it can be quite strong. Remember it's also a way to hide less attractive flavors and not always a good thing, but if you're going to have a pastry too, it does complement.
I had a galactobourika with a cardamom coffee and a boureka both. The latter had the orange blossom or rose flavors in the syrup.

I will buy Colombia chocolate for making hot chocolate. It has the dark piloncillo already in it. I heat the bars in milk in the microwave or in a pan, and to the chocolately milk, top it off with espresso.
