Anyone have thoughts on wood fired oven foods? Pizza obviously, but the high heat is good for other things too. Just post your thoughts/opinions - I might make one this summer and I'm deciding if it's worth it

Breads and fire charred salsas look up Jas' video one making them it requires a little labor but doesn't see too bad my friend's dirt poor grandparents make one in Mexico they still use sometimes

They look cool, but I just know if I had to make an actual wood fire everytime I wanted pizza, I would never make pizza. I'd just get one of those baking steel things (or some jury-rigged variation) and use my oven if I was going this way.
Personally, I just make pan pizza. It's is not as 'pure', but a lot easier in terms of both effort and specialized equipment and still quite tasty.

You plan out your entire day with those, depending on how much thermal mass it has. As in pizza first then breads, then cookies, and whatever in between all as it cools off over time. You fire it up once a week and you'll have baked goods for the week.

Those items won't keep for a week.

I'm building one in my backyard. You absolutely should too.
