The worst that can happen is you get pinworms. I used to eat raw hotdogs all the time as a kid until I got pinworms from it. I grew up pretty poor, so I wasn’t eating top shelf hotdogs. Usually it was bulk packs of generic chicken wieners. If your butthole starts to get itchy at night, you have pinworms.

No, the concept of a subcategory is why a submarine sandwich is a sandwich (no pun intended), in spite of being structurally similar to a hot-dog or taco.

Everything below the top row OTHER than the sub is incidentally part of some other catagory of food other than sandwich.

Hence, "A burrito cannot be a sandwich, because its too busy being a burrito", and repeat the same for hot dogs, tacos, wraps, and filled pastries.
A better example of a "Structurally rebellious" sandwich would be something like a KFC double-down.
