What is by far the best soup there is /ck/?

My vote goes to clam chowder

>> No.10511997

I could go for some soup, but given my mom is insecure about my new cooking habit and abilities (she never cooked for us when were kids and now that we're older she feels insecure about not doing it) I don't think me making soup tonight would be well appreciated.

Chicken noodle is super easy and awesome though.

This or lobster bisque.

I'd say my favorite is definitely clam chowder but runners up go to chicken and rice, pozole, and broccoli cheddar

I like gumbo.

buddha jumps over the wall is the best thing ive had. if only shark fins weren't so expensive, i would consider it the best.

with availability and tastes in concern, clam chowder gets the title

It's honestly sad how little professional restaurants don't make their own broth or demi-glace. It's noticeable on the first spoon. Oddly enough I have a truebeliever bar owner nearby who makes great soups with in-house stock.

That shit is good, it is amazing what the broth does to a meatball. They taste better then when served with a tomato sauce.
