How do you feel about restaurants with design-heavy dining rooms?

I wouldn't tip, that's for certain

the one in the picture is way too bright
i would walk right out of there because my autism would be triggered and theres no way i could sit and eat a meal in those conditions without scaring others

atmosphere.

Gotta agree that the room is way too bright. If you've ever been to a fancy dining restaurant they usually have the house lights turned down or dimmed with candles lit.

I find dimly lit restaurants make me feel depressed and dysphoric in the evenings, even though I prefer to keep the lights off when I'm alone in my room

>go to America
>all restaurants are dimly lit
>extremely loud with zero sound dampening in the walls
>can't see what you're eating clearly
>can't hold a conversation with the people you're dining with
>later read this is intentional because Americans talk very loudly but don't like it when other tables overhear them
>this is supposed to be the optimal American dining experience

I don't understand.
