You assume it actually works. It doesn't. More often than not it just plain breaks the eggs and makes a mess.

I agree that some of those tools could be useful for someone who is disabled, and there's nothing wrong with that. But the context of this conversation doesn't appear to be geared towards disabled people. I assume we're talking mainstream, not niche applications.
