I judge a movie theatre based on their nachos. far too many places do that thing these days where they just give you a small bag of corn chips and a small cup of cold cheese. gimme some real fucking nachos, the shit I can't get anywhere else

Decent. Since I have moviepass and bring a drink I tend to get it often. You get to pour your own butter so it's never too much/too little. My only complaint is they give you table salt instead of popcorn salt

I recently went to a Regal theater that poured this literally (and I mean LITERALLY) flavourless ""butter"" on your popcorn and it was actually the worst

3 cinemas nearby, one often stale, one has numbers of unpopped kernels and one has me shitting the undigested caramel bits out for next day. All 3 are pricey and the size of packaging getting smaller as time goes by.

Pretty good, I used to work at the dollar theater, at the end of the day I could take as much popcorn home as I wanted, took a trash bag full home a few times.

Once someone put the popping oil in the butter dispenser on accident, a few customers complained that it was too buttery, but most said it was better than ever.

You don't even have to sneak it in. I just tell them I'm allergic to peanuts now, and they let me bring in whatever. No minimum wage worker is going to fight with you over if you're allergic or not except for crochety old people.
