I've made this (with Yukon Golds not Heston's hipster, impossible to find in the US potatoes) and I can vouch for them. However, the Food Lab method of using salted, vinegared water for the first stage really helps a lot, both with the flavor and keeping them from falling apart.

same, but I'm an anglophone and swear almost exclusively in english

but have you really never heard "colisse" or "colisser" or are you just one of those people who never got the memo that the swears are all bits of churches and not spelled in bullshit ways like "tabernak" instead of "tabernacle"

Fucking up someone is "decalisser", "calisser" is a vulgar way of saying someone is doing something.

>> No.10492843

>>10492811
thats good to know, i thought it was just "calisser" in the sense of cup/chalice and using the chalice on someone in a angery way, sorta like how aussies say they'll glass someone, as in strike them with a glass

>> No.10492872

>>10492843
Nah, most uses don't make much sense at all, a lot of them mean different things or even have different syntactic or grammatical purposes in various contexts.
It's actually pretty weird when you think about it.

>It's actually pretty weird when you think about it.
so's swearing in every language though, especially in cultures where swearing is impolite but not especially vulgar, like french and italian and japanese and basically every language that isnt english
