I'm enjoying some Chakri at the moment, they're a bit like a churro spirals but much thinner and crunchier and taste Indian. A bit like the fat fried noodles you get in Bombay mix.

I want to try more Indian snack foods. Pictured is Kadboli, which Wikipedia tells me is similar to Chakri? Has anyanon tried it?

Yup. The kadboles my grandmother makes are much lighter in color than the OP, not sure what the difference is though.

>chili paneer [just paneer with chilis and spices]

if you have an indian grocery store look for "navrattan mixture" (https://www.amazon.com/Haldirams-Navrattan-Mix-200g/dp/B002DN0RNC).). I used to eat the entire bag in one day when I was in middle school so my parents stopped buying it. It's like Indian chex mix.

Ah we call Navrattan mixture Bombay mix here, or Gujarati mix. That shit is addictive and greasy, I usually eat it with chopsticks so I don't end up eating too much too fast.

I like sweet Indian stuff but not to snack on, it's too sweet for that. Nice as a tiny bite that you eat really slowly with some bitter tea after a meal though.

Tangy sauce is probably tamarind-based. Mita is the sweet brown one, pani is the watery spicy green sauce.

I forgot to mention one of my favorite sweets, laddu. Usually given out by temples on festival days.
There are a ton of recipes (https://www.vegrecipesofindia.com/ladoo-recipes/)), but I don't like the complicated ones, my favorite is the classic https://www.vegrecipesofindia.com/besan-ladoo-recipe-easy-besan-ladoos/, made with chickpea flour. Very easy to do at home. You can replace ghee with refined coconut oil if you're vegan too. Just one tip, go easy on the sugar at first, you can mix in more later.
I don't like the raisins/almond slices etc but you can put them in if you like too.

I don't think they're very similar to be honest. While thick, kesari is very sticky, can be compressed and reshaped, and is eaten with a spoon, whereas burfi (the only one I'm familiar with is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaju_katli)) is relatively solid and eaten with hands.

Plus, kesari is made from semolina, which isn't present in most burfis (of course there are variants...http://hebbarskitchen.com/rava-burfi-recipe-suji-barfi-recipe/).). I'm kind of guessed on the right one just because it's in a triangle shape, but it's possible that one is made from kesari/halwa too. The middle layers of both look similar.

They have nothing to do with each other except for being sweet. Kesari bhath is made of rava, and is basically sweet uppitu/upma with fruits and nuts in it instead of vegetables, hence the latter's common name khara bath when it's on the same menu. It's generally a component of a meal and is not always as sugary as a dessert, though some people like it that way. Burfi is specifically a confection, and the main ingredient is condensed milk, though it often has various other stuff in it too.
