I have yet to find a beer I would rather have over a cold mgd. I know it’s not “the best” beer in the world, and I’m sure there’s one out there I would like better, but I certainly haven’t found it yet, and mgd is so good I really don’t care about looking. Beer and food aren’t really the same. I am always interested in trying new food, and if I don’t like it at least I know for next time, but getting a beer I don’t like is just so fucking disappointing, and then I end up not drinking that night, and it sits in my fridge until company comes over and I try to get them to drink it. It’s easier to just buy mgd and ginger beer. Can’t go wrong with a strong cloudy ginger beer.

The best beer is no beer. Beer was one of the first trappings of (((society))).

>> No.10479598

>>10474662
The best beer is the one you're in the mood for, one that's fresh/holds up to aging, and is served right.

Some foods are "beer" foods, and some should probably be eaten with wine or something else. Typically, dry lagers go with like 80% of savory dishes imo, with maltier ales filling in the other 20% (a good beef wellington with a porter or ESB, for example).

My favorite style, consistently, is probably a nice clean, dry ale or lager of some sort. American pales, or czech pilseners are probably tops for me.
