Hmm. The Deluxe has a sharper taste and thicker texture while Velveeta is more honest about being cheese sauce and a creamier texture. I enjoy both. If the Best Buy is on a ridiculous sale it's not so bad just bland that hot sauce takes care of.That powder shit is a waste of butter and milk.

Poor fags in my country eat this shit. It's basically corn flour, they add it to boiling water, and eat it with cheese or tomato sauce. A lot of carbs, but not many nutrients. I ate it for lunch today because I was in a hurry, it's really really fast to cook, you can have it in 3 minutes

you can give some recommendations what you would do with it though. (as in which veggies or something else)

Fucking this. When I was poverty-tier broke i just planned all my meals around beans and chicken hearts. With rice or pasta and cheap veggies.

1 lb kidney/pinto beans - $0.79
2 lb chicken hearts from asian supermarket - $1.99

A typical meal of beans, hearts, veggies and a carb (rice or pasta) would run me about 50(ish) cents.

Use different spices and herbs to change up flavor profile.

Rice in western cuisine is mostly a side dish and not a main dish. So we don't serve only rice with tiny bits of cut food mixed in.
The one reason that I can think of where a spoon is required is when you transfer rice from the bowl to your plate.
Otherwise eating rice with a spoon only makes you look like a retard

whats the difference between poverty and frugal?

because this meal was really. really fucking cheap if i remove the sweet paprikas.

5kg rice =8 euro
10 kg of chicken =13 euro
3 kg of carrots = 3 euro
5 kg of onions =1.50 euro
ketjap asin 1 liter = 3 euro (enough to use the above ingredients like 5 times)
salt

pepper
paprika
curry
these 3 in bulk for 3 euro each and you have enough to use for the above 5 times

if you guys think thats to much or not poverty enough then we just get to plain cheap white rice with salt and done.

> Buy whole chicken + Cheap stuffing mix, stuff and add a few garlic cloves if possible.
>Rub a bit of butter over the outside, roast
>Uncover for the last 20 mins to crisp up
>Shred the meat, use with carbs such as rice, beans, pasta and potatoes.
>Make soup from the bones, add in a few frozen veg (frozen mixed veg) dried herbs, some hot sauce and given some lentils and rice to thicken.

Porridge for breakfast, soup + some bread for lunch, chicken fried rice etc.. for dinner.

Meals for over a week easily.

Make dal as a substitute for normal curry. cheap sausages, gravy powder, onion and mashed potatoes makes a great meal. Make batches of overnight oats up, they last for a few days and are good for a filling snack.

Look up rationing recipes from the UK, plenty of ideas for cheap meals using not much.

http://www.frugal.org.uk/food/recipes/

A slice of straight out the oven potato pie covered with some mushroom gravy served with a coffee is a fantastic meal when you cant afford the heating, trust me.
