If you're not taking classes or just entering the workforce, and doing one of these jobs, for more than a year, or are over 25, you are a failure and should accept you'll be doing this work for the rest of your lives.
You probably destroyed your life as a child, not getting interested in something other than videogames, not pursuing education in some subject.
Doing it right:
3rd grade, protractor, compass, and ruler teacher taught geometry.
By the sophomore year of high school I took a "drafting" class and went through the teacher's entire curriculum in 1 week.
Took several temp agency jobs while earning my Associates degree, then never worked menial labor again as I continued my degrees.
Worked at Boeing as an engineer for 6 years, before going freelance with my own workshop (done everything from antique car restoration to custom furniture).
Never worked in retail or food service.

All you have to do is tell the cashier you don't want it and someone will put it back for you without cross contaminating shit and ruining product. Casual
Professional

Casuals got one or two coupons they found in the aisle, on their package, or maybe in the sales pamphlet.

Professionals got their shit planned out. They got a binder, filled with coupons, organized and ready to go.

Bat Shits have just as many coupons as professionals but aren't organized, argue with you when they don't work, try to exceed the store limit, like to do shit like get 20 packages of one thing "cause it's cheap". I'm all for stocking up on non-perishables for the pantry but some of the things they buy huge amounts of are bizarre.

The comfiest job I ever worked. The hours were stupid (some days of the week I was there in the morning, some days I worked over night shifts) but all in all, it was a pretty good gig. It was my first job and was quite above minimum wage. Sad that I left. Don't work retail, but the guy that sits next to me at work is the most revolting animal I've ever encountered. He slowly chews his food, smacking his lips with every bite, and he'll come up and talk to you with his mouth completely loaded. Then he'll slowly suck each finger, yanking them out with a disgustingly loud pop, one by one. He'll do this at least 4-5 times throughout the day, even when he's not eating.

I'm making 16/hr in my second year at a grocery store, I work in receiving though so zero customer interaction. I just have to deal with truck drivers and annoying vendors all day, with added bonuses of departments not wanting to come take care of their product after it's delivered.
It's pretty nice actually, we can listen to whatever the fuckall we want on the computer, generally have youtube up. Odd spurts of downtime means I'm literally getting paid to sit on my ass waiting for deliveries to show up. Night shifts are 4 hours of waiting for DC trucks to show up and an hour of unloading them and then another 2-3 hours of waiting for the UNFI load to come in. Nobody audits my hours either, I can stay late an hour or 2 most days and nobody says a thing.

Not him, but get into the hospitality industry, like a front desk agent or bellhop at a hotel. Solid benefits if you're at a good spot. Only bad is you'll probably work with a bunch of bitter people, but it's a solid job. If you're at the front desk, you have more flexibility and would be able to move to other hotels. Bellhop, you'll be there forever for tips/porterage
