No, there is usually a window to put a pizza in to give it a 1/2 run. It's been the norm since can't say when... mid to late 80's at least.
With some call-ins I tell them to burn it. They say "extra-cooked?" and I say, "No, burn it." They understand a double ride versus a ride and a half.
Sometimes you can tell when they've got a lot of shit going on and you're going to get it the way they're going to cook it, but they're usually okay with running it through again. Or using the side window. I've never worked delivery, but I'd imagine it's not a huge deal unless you're trying to line out deliveries to be efficient.
I think that's when I don't get the extra cooked that I asked for.

It's a thing, at least in my small quadrant of the USA. Almost every pizza chain under-cooks their pizzas. Pizzi. I'd guess that people mostly prefer eating raw dough, at least in my area. Maybe they just don't know better. Maybe the best way to eat pizza is under-cooked and I'm the actual plebian. I constantly question myself. Helps me grow.
