Pretty decent, but we have more thai restaurants than we should.

Pretty good, though I haven't found good pizza yet.

The only foods my state is known for is putting cheese inside the cheeseburger patty instead of on top and baked tater tot pans full of greasy shit:
Could be worse.

I currently live in a NorCal suburb, but grew up in Hawaii. NorCal probably has the best food scene in the country, next to PDX, but I honestly miss the food in Hawaii more than anything.

next to no good asian food for the amount of asians but we have some of the best restaurants in the state besides that.

As far as local (Basque) cuisine goes it is pretty great. For more modest prices you can get hearty servings of simple but well done and varied dishes, and if you're willing to pay for it you can get stuff about as fancy as you could want. Worst thing that can happen is paying more than you should for something in one of the more tourist-trappy places, but even then quality is always good.
Other than that there are a couple of good Chinese places and a few overpriced mediocre Japanese ones. Also, I hear most of the kebab stands give a pretty good bang for your buck, but I haven't tried them myself yet.

I live in a flyover state but it's both the capital and has the major state university so it attracts a decent upscale scene as well as a lot of ethnic stuff so pretty much what you would want. There are some problems though:

Seafood either is expensive or isn't good
There are lots of unrepresented styles. Like nothing slavic, pinoy, Portuguese, French, our bbq are all chains, all the mexican food is from Puebla
A lot of people only like American food so there are a ton of mediocre burger joints my friends and family want to go to

Honolulu here- it's very good simply due to the huge amount of tourism, but I always wish we would have a greater diversity outside of Asian foods.

Not going to lie I live in the middle of nowhere but my middle of nowhere town has a really good Thai place and a pretty good Indian place.
We also recently got a real Mexican place; shady af in the back of a convenience store but holy fuck not bad.
Due to the older nature of the community we also have a couple excellent places to get a steak.

We’ve got several Pizza places that are worth trying and all the chains too besides like PF Changs and shit.

Overall considering the towns size it isn’t bad at all.

There's some really nice places in Amsterdam but holy shit it gets expensive. Who the fuck spends 40+ Euros on a dinner for one person
The 1 Michelin star places cost even more. And even when going to the fancy places you should do some research otherwise you might end up in an average yet overpriced restaurant, especially if it's in the center.

But anyway, with enough research you can find lots of good places to eat, especially in the Eastern part of Amsterdam. Food from all over the world, personal fav is Persian and Surinam food.
Dutch bars/pubs also have very nice bar food, so cold cuts+cheeses, nachos with lots of dips, and the more typical stuff like bitterballen and so on.

oblivion was a pretty good movie. ive seen it about 3 times. maybe 3.5 if you want the exact numbers. tom cruise has really found a niche for himself in his later career, as an action hero. mindless action hero, to be precise. no offense to him.

Fucking awesome. I live in the "Farm-to-Fork" capitol because of all the agriculture in my state, plus being part of a metro area and near a coast, and a port city, it all comes together. I can find pretty much any kind of food from around the world within a 30 mile radius.

Its all fast food, and not all that much at that. There is only one non chain restaurant. There are 7 chain restaurants. I don't go out to eat. Nearly every acre of the town is residential. Its fucking absurd. Everyone drives to neighboring cities to eat at restaurants. The grocery store is tiny, and I go to other towns for groceries.
