They're both food markets that decided to sell gas, but their main focus is on the food. Gas is usually set as low as possible and does not contribute to their profit at all, just lures in customers.

i always grew up in sheetz country so i never really "got" wawa and even after moving into dual territory i don't really frequent wawa.

then again i only go to sheetz for late night drunk fried bullshit, not their sandwiches.
but- their chicken on a pretzel roll with provolone and mustard is pretty based.

I hate working there, but I get free food from the waste on the sell by dates, so It keeps my food cost low

I can't tell if that's an assumption but gas is one of our primary profits. We reap profits on gas, and food ALWAYS comes second. Always. No matter what 3 cent discount we give, no matter how many cigs we sell, gas will always be the most profit.

New Wawa just opened up about 20 minutes away. Fucking weird gas stations are leagues more advanced than any other store in terms of store design and inside electronic machinery.
