I've never been to Sonic but can someone give me a run down on their food items and the quality of them? I am a big lover of coneys, or chili dogs, somehow I doubt a fast food one will be good though probably as good as I could make at home with canned chili and Oscar Meyer weiners is this accurate or nah?

Also, Sonic was probably given a chili dog obsession because of this dumb joke

Top tier burgers. Hotdogs are ok their chili is pretty good. Chili cheese fries are good, can also get Frito pie. Best part of sonic though is drinks and shakes. Every time I get off work for a week I start with a route 44 cherry limeade and a bottle of rum.

One of the important things to recognize is that they have tater-tots instead of fries. They use a seasoning blend similar to Lawry's on them.
The burgers are quite good. They are made to order and use 1/4lb patties. The salad includes lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. The salad portion is larger than at most fast food establishments and are of high quality. When order one, they will ask if you want mustard or mayo.
The coneys are pretty good, but that is mostly due to the chili, onions, and cheese (or other selection). The hot dog itself is of medium quality and uses a standard quality whitebread bun.

The breakfast items are also pretty good. I like the Texas Toast breakfast sandwiches.
Overall, the food is good, but they focus less on value that some other establishments.

I work at Sonic. If you're gonna get a dog, get the six inch, the foot long doesn't taste as good. Aside from dogs, Sonic actually has pretty good chicken, both the popcorn chicken and the boneless wings are fantastic. Strips are okay.
