I used a Brita pitcher when I was in an apartment with poor tap water. Worked well, you just have to replace the filter every few months. Replacement filters are cheap and come in packs of four, so it's not an issue.

I usually get my hydration from grapes and watermelons.

In fact, I find a swig of water after a grape makes it a little more enjoyable
