Buy gallon ziplocs and put leftover slices stacked in the freezer, and pull them out when you want crap pizza again. They reheat okay in the oven on a stone.

No, it's lazy more than cheap, and total lack of planning. Bad pizza eaters are people who literally can't drive a car for 10 minutes to pick up good pizza, stromboli or calzones from a local Italian restaurant (where they could also get delicious salad, and homemade garlic knots). There may be some other people who have kids they're babysitting and they're in the pool or something like that. Kids love bad pizza.

I live on the east coast near NYC and there are no chain pizza restaurants around unless you go to a poor area because the mom and pop stuff is so much better. I tried papa johns once at a friends party and it was the best chain pizza I have tried, still mediocre overall. That place closed up 3 months after it opened and honestly that may just have been bad owners not doing market research. Their hasnt been any chain pizza in that city for over 10 years after that.

We all know what pizza tastes like, when I want good old fashioned pizza or a fresh Buffalo chicken pie to sit down and watch The Last Unicorn I'll drive out there. When I'm watching WARCRAFT, you bet I'm ordering me chicken, cheesy bread and custom pizzas from domino's.

The one thing chain pizzas do is consistently stay the same (exclude Pj's) whereas a shop will always differ on sauces, dough, and if you get any custom pizzas you're limited or get charged out the bottom for.

No reason to be uptight on pizza.

I love papa johns. In university there was one that was a 2 minute drive from my apartment. it was cheap and pretty good. for a while they had chicken tenders that were pretty awesome with their special honey chipotle. I ate a lot of those tenders. could get like 30 tenders for 13 bucks. tendies for lunch every day.
