Typically an upbringing where their only interaction with animals and nature is Disney movies and sterilized trail hiking. Dont get me wrong, the meat industry that surrounds fast food and mass production for Wal-Mart and the like is a deplorable abomination. For some reason though vegans will equate the beef cattle raised from calf to slaughter in a 6 ft pen with pastured dairy cows. Some time out in the woods watching nature off the beaten path does a ton more for understanding and respecting the natural world than those gay brochures of chickens being mistreated and pigs being slaughtered

The only reason this situation pisses me off is because when the lead vegan protester was asked why she didn't protest one of the bigger restaurants that actually DID serve non-wild game in the area, she basically said that she was going after the smaller restaurants because it looked better. That's why these people can fuck off in my book, they don't mind going after a small business owner when there's larger businesses that are actively doing worse things. What a bunch of cowards.
