Ethnic places make their dishes less spicy when a white person orders than they do for their fellow brown and/or yellow people. Sorry to break it to you, lad, but you've been getting the pussyfied version whenever you order something "spicy" this whole time.

Maybe don't go there and ask for "the spieciest thing you've got." It's the same reason for why some barkeepers will give tap water and call it "ultra-strong vodka" to people asking for "the strongest drink in the house."

White people cant stand heat is such a meme. No shit most white people dont eat spicy food, heat was never a normal part of the european diet. Now that its readily available you have white people breeding the hottest peppers possible specifically to eat it.

Asian food isnt even that hot.

>now that its readily available you have white people breeding the hottest peppers possible specifically to eat it.
Rectum ravaging fact. White people bred the hottest peppers to ever exist on the face of this planet.
Its like thet pretend we didn't conquer half the world and go to war multiple times to get herbs and spices we didn't have indigenously.

>> No.10393061

Europe had some of the most bland and boring native foods imaginable. You ever look up what the ancient greeks ate? Basically nothing but dates, honey, pasta, wild fruit, and fish. British food was even worse, all they ate was the shitty fish native to the region, aka horrid crap like eels. Europe didnt even have sugar until the late middle ages.

Meanwhile the asian continent has hundreds of spices just growing everywhere, they basically eat the same shit they ate 1000 years ago.

We basically conquered the world just to get food that didnt taste like shit, and have cultivated the most diverse availability of food in history.

What is the point to building a spice tolerance?

If, let's say the spiciest I can handle eating is a jalapeno, why build a tolerance to the point of the spiciest I can handle is a Carolina Reaper? In the end, it's the same intensity.

Yeah, I feel your pain having grown up in the midwest where indian food was milder than tex-mex. It was a revelation when I visited friends living in NY and they took me to a legit indian restaurant and the vindaloo was super hot since they knew any cumskin who wandered in really did want it hot. Flyover midwest is a food wasteland of watered down everything.

You mean hot peppers actually have a taste other than burning your mouth on fire?

Does a Carolina Reaper actually have an amazing flavor that I'm prevented from tasting because my mouth is too numb from how hot it is?
