Look, dammit, it's only fair that since In-N-Out expanded to Texas that Whataburger should expand to California. Please, for the love of burgers. Come on, I'm begging you. Put one anywhere in NorCal, and I'll be there. There's plenty of college towns near the cities up here where Whataburger would go over huge. Davis, Chico, or in east Sac near Sac State, or in Rocklin near Sierra College. Placerville has the only Schlotzkys in the state, and it does fucking great business (when I crave schlotzkys, I have no problems driving 45 minutes up the hill to get it.) so don't tell me a Texas chain can't make it here. I NEED A JALAPEÑO CHEESE WHATABURGER AND A HONEY BUTTER CHICKEN BISCUIT NOOOOOOWWWWW.

It's very bland. They make a big burger, yes, like everything in Texas, but you can't judge a burger by size alone. Whataburger is more like "whataboutit?" when it comes to taste and quality, etc. There are a few In N Out's in Texas which are far superior to their Texan chain - superior in every single way, and arguably, to all other burger chains in regards to value, taste, and quality.
