Pay attention to what you are doing, analyze what went wrong, do it better next time. Start with eassy dishes, look up techniques on youtube, practice, be prepared to be frustrated and fail. then grit your teeth and try again.

try this, its unfuckupable. Use only half as much rice and add some sweet or hot paprika and some pork belly.

You get the hang of it. Buy an eggtimer or some shit to help you while you're starting out, but after a few months you find that you instinctively know when most stuff is cooked, and for the stuff that you still don't know, you can just stab it with a knife.

Half of cooking is the ingredients you use, the rest is timing and balancing seasoning. Remember: Garbage in, garbage out.
