I spent a weekend in NO back in 2016 with my Dad, and we stayed at a standard marriot hotel. I went down to the restraunt in the hotel for dinner the first night, and it was a simple bar that served simple things, So I just got a hamburger, took it up to my room and ate it there.

The next day I came down for breakfast, got some eggs and waffles, went about my day. Came back later that night and ordered another burger.

The guy running the bar, stops me, and tells me flat out. "Look man, I'll make you this burger tonight, but I don't want to see you here again, You're in New orleans, go to a real restraunt, experience the culture. Cause if you come back here tomorrow, I aint gonna serve ya."

So I agree, Get my burger go back to my room. I didn't have the heart to tell him I was meeting family at Chille's tomorrow afternoon before flying out.

I did however get lunch about the steamboat natchez, which was really good. A bit too much food though.
