The avocado latte was a ruse. And, I'll never understand why people would pay for a plate of avocado toast in a restaurant. I nean, I live near avocado orchards, so I've been eating avocado toast for well over 15 years, but I wouldn't pay for it in a restaurant. That would be like going into a restaurant and paying for a plate of toast with peanut butter on it. Who would do that?

This logic really only applies if you specifically went to the restaurant just to get avocado toast. If you ended up going to said restaurant because of friends, family etc., then you should still pick whatever your favorite food is because you're at the restaurant anyway. Or perhaps, you went there to eat something else and the avocado toast is just a part of the larger meal.
