They had a strange period where their pizzas were square cafeteria food. Originally, they had great pizza. They got sold a few times and went further into shit hole each time. I think the square pizza was their lowest point but I haven't tried them in a decade.

Fazolis is mediocre at best, and all of you know it. Their pizza, the pasta, the breadsticks, the salads, the sandwiches are all below Olive Garden tier.

That being said, it has nostalgia value, and it's sweet being able to roll through a drive-thru and grab some penne with sausage and peppers, a slice of pepperoni, a couple breadsticks, and a coke. Fazolis deserves success for the same reason White Castle does.
