if i were to cut soda completely out of my diet how much weight would i stand to lose just from removing that? diet is not an option as i am allergic to aspartame

It depends. If you drank maybe 3-4 sodas a day, you could lose 10 pounds in a month just by cutting out soda.

Then you're going to lose weight very fast. for a month, but it likely isn't the only contributing factor to your weight. You must also stop eating fast food. Go for an hour walk once a day. Learn to love soup and salad.

If you do that everyday, you'd probably lose about a lb a week if you switch to diet

Holy shit. Anon, I'm saying this from a place of concern and love, please start drinking water. Start drinking carbonated water if it's the fizzies that you like, but please start drinking more water and less soda.

I used to drink about 6 cans of Dr Pepper a day and lots of juice. I was 6'1" and 240lbs.
2 Years ago I just stopped drinking soda and juice. Lost 35 lbs in a few months without any other changes.

Good. Get after it.

Then it sounds like you're in a position where cutting out soda can really benefit you. Soda offers no nutritional value and creates a ring of wasteful fat around your muscles. If you cut out soda you will become superman.

Sorry, forgot to say, I replaced that volume of drinks with water. I drink between 1-2 liters of water a day now.
