propane is more convenient and charcoal doesn't have as much more flavor as some people think it does.

This. Propane grilling is fine if you just want a stove outdoors, but don't go pretending it's better than cooking over charcoal.

I use propane for day-to-day burgers, steaks, pork chops, chicken. It's convenient, cheap, fast, and gets the job done. If I want wood-smoked flavor, I'll head over to my mom's house where she has my dad's old smoker and make some proper barbecue.

>> No.10162586

>>10162572

this. propane grills burn the fat that drips from meats, and gives it a good, clean, meaty flavor. and charcoal is just a bad compromise between the convenience of propane and and smoking.

It is a Fresnel lens from an old projection tv. It is a giant magnifying glass as big as a projection tv. You can destroy just about anything with them if the focal point is focused to be as small as possible or make it larger to cook something with less heat. It is the equivalent of 600 to 1000 watts concentrated down to the head of a pin or whatever diameter you wish. The larger the lens, the more powerful it is.

wood is too much of a bitch. you can just add bits of wood to charcoal anyways.
everyone I know always leaves their propane running and next time they go to grill the tank is empty.
