The jump in quality from HD may not be 100%, but I don't buy ice cream very often, so the difference between better and best is worth it to me.

Makes sense. I live about 2 hours out from the Jeni's home base and have tried several of their flavors, but none have stuck with me. Guess I'll keep trying.
