On a scale of perfectly safe, to committing suicide.
How safe is it to eat egg drop soup from any given chinese takeout?

I've never tried egg drop soup from a restaurant because it looks gross.

One of the safest choices. It's easier just to make it at home. Taste better too.

It's egg in soup, what would be unsafe about it.

Just don't add any bat to it and you'll be alright.

You seem to be the racist, as is very common with your types. I simply don't give a shit about your fucking nations and don't want to visit them.
If you want to call me racist for disagreeing with you then you must have been shillary supporters since that's the best that they can do.
Are you still seething in your closets because Trump beat your annointed one?

This. I used to get quarts of eggdrop for take-out all the time. Though sometimes I would wonder just how long it had been simmering in the giant pot... hours? days?

I never thought to try, but that's a great suggestion; it does look pretty easy:

What does /ck/ think about added ingredients? One of my local takeouts puts corn in their eggdrop. Also, I typically dump in the whole packet of those crispy fried noodle things that they normally include in the bag.

Anyone who likes Chinese eggdrop soup would probably also enjoy Greek avgolemono (egg-lemon) soup with chicken.
