How do you feel about people wearing hats while eating in a restaurant?

I don't do it but I also don't care about people doing it

It’s slightly unclassy but not really that rude. Besides, it’s just a rule a bunch of stuffy rich people made up however many centuries ago.

Don’t give a fuck

if you are losing your hairline or your hair doesn't frame your head and face in a manner that the broad range of society finds attractive, you should be able to hide while eating a meal you saved up your money for...

If it's a super fancy place you need to use a wig though or everyone will think youre being a douche

If I'm by myself I won't concern myself with those ruffians but if I'm in the presence of a lady I will take action to prevent anyone from besmirching her honour by wearing a non-religious headcovering in a place of dining. If I cannot get them to see reason I must challenge them to a duel (of intellect since the laws of this land prevent gentlemanly combat by pistol or sabre)

Since it’s no longer 1885 I don’t get bothered by meaningless bullshit

Depends on the location but restaurants usually have a semblance of a dresscode.
