pane e pomodoro, with proscuitto and bocconcini

>Take a piece of quality bread, lightly toasted
>Gently spread half a beat up tomato into the bread with your hand
>dice the remaining gutted tomato, and bocconcini and proscuittto
>put a pinch of salt & oregano on the bread, drizzle a bit of olive oil
>top with diced tomato + proscuitto + bocconcini

Not sure whether this becomes bruschetta when you just add the chopped tomato on top, but it's fucking delicious nonetheless. Highly recommend.

Yes, the mashing tomato into the bread is very important.

Not that guy, but best pizza I ever had was like his pic. Prosciutto, fig and fresh arugula. Fig isn't as sweet as most fruit, it goes well with cheese and salt.
