How are chinese folks not all fat? Their food is just fried mystery meats with sugar sauce over tons of rice.

That's american chinese food and hey what do you know, American's are fat.

What's actual chinese food like?

>> No.9798640

Pretty much the same if you go to "civilised" parts of China/Chinese Countries (Hong Kong, Singapore....)

Everything is mainly fried or marinated.
They barely eat Dim Sum, it's kind of a "Sunday Brunch" thing there.

If you want something good and not to fat, go to the places where they hang the meat (chicken, duck, pork belly...) that's the freshest meats and it's often well grilled/roasted.

Otherwise that's just fat and sugar, that's why a lot of asians are fat in the big cities...

Oh, I forgot : There's a lot of soups as well...
Since it was fucking hot everytime I went I didn't tried but they looked pretty decent.

Depends on the city.
Rice or wheat based.
Mostly veggies
Small portion of meat, usually pork

Stop eating so much of it.

I had some street food in mainland China when I was riding from town to town. Had the worst case of food poisoning, fuck those chinks. Shamfur dispray.

So basically the same thing but less of it.
I live in a town with a high Asian population and they all stuff their faces at the same "Americanized" chinese places we do. The restaurants with no english on the menu serve the same type of food too- except instead of sugar chicken they have sugar pig intestines and fish lips and shit.

Steaming is pretty damn common in chinese cooking though.
