Baking soda, letting your flour mix sit for an hour, or overnight in your fridge, you can fluff up Your eggs whites (check that out) with a whisk or stand mixture, then add other ingredients slowly and then cook it.

I blend overripe bananas with soaked chickpeas and pressure steam 10-15 minutes. Not right in the pressure cooker, that will burn it, but in another vessel inside the pressure cooker with a bit of water inside the pressure cooker but outside the batter vessel.

Not trying to be lazy
But i love baby bananas, and garbanzo beans, and bean juice(aquafaba).
I would love to learn more about how you make your stuff.
I would think all you need is a stand mixer and mix all that stuff with a sweetener(agave syrup) and some cinnamon and clover to taste.

How much sugar is generally in an American pancake recipe? I make pikelets, which are mini pancakes and an Australian thing. They have 2tbsp of sugar for 1 cup of flour. Just curious about American recipes

HOw to make thick pancakes:

Step 1: Make a thick batter. If it's too hard to stir it's too thick.
Step 2: Cook the fucking pancakes
That's it. Idiot.

You really can't compare the two though, it's such a different experience.

Pancakes are fluffy sponges to absorb syrup.
Crepes are super tasty rolled up with fillings or stacked with cream.
And for good measure waffles are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

They all provide something unique.
