Can I roast "Baking Potatoes" by cutting them up and putting them in the oven?

I hear Maris Piper potatoes are good for roast potatoes but I saw a pack of "Baking Potatoes" in the local supermarket and was too autistic to clarify if they were the ones I wanted so I just bought them.

Yes you can, they work just fine for roasting. They are just russet potatoes, they are labeled baking potatoes because they are the best kind for baking.

If you want the dopest roast potatoes, get fingerlings, drizzle them with olive oil, and season with herbs du provence. You'll thank me later when you're ramming ass in the bone zone.

boil just till they're fork tender, but not mush
drain and put on greased sheet pan
put sheet pan in freezer to cool
when cool put potatoes in large bowl
mix with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder and whatever fresh herbs you're feelin that day
back on sheet pan and bake at 450 till crispy(about twenty minutes or so)
