There's no reason to work hard at a fast food place ever because there's no reason to work hard when the money you get out of it isn't proportional to the work required.

I've only had my order wrong like 2 times in several decades of occasional fast food eating.

I've been in fast food about two years and manager for 1.
I have dealt with incorrect orders on my shift probably around 20 or so times.
Do you know what the common reason for incorrect orders is?
Special snowflake orders.

Yeah this may be hyperbole, the point is the same, when it's busy af and you have to make a shit ton of food, orders like these take extra time to make and you go in robot mode when you have to make 30 burgers, so forgetting stuff like that is to be expected from FAST food. Expo is usually the ones that fuck up though.

In my experience, McDonald's is the place that is constantly getting orders wrong. Dunkin Donuts is just generally incompetent. I go to McDonald's and I'd say there's at least a 30% chance they're going to fail to put something I asked for and paid for into my bag. Once they just completely forgot to give me my drink. Dunkin Donuts doesn't forget items but they're all retards who stand around gossiping about bullshit like who they're getting a ride home from, right in front of the customer. One time the woman working the register at the drive-thru forgot to take my card to pay for my order until after I'd actually gotten my food, so I had to sit there extra time waiting for her to run my card through.

Because of poor management. You don't really get this issue at mcdonalds outside of the worst ghettos because they emphasise training their management properly

Dumb cashier passes me food with out saying or looking at me. Drive away to other side of parking lot open bag of food take out over fried shrimp, look for cocktail sauce, find Taco Bell hot sauce. Drive back to window foods now col yell at cashier say I asked for Cocktail not hot sauce , she says some people like hot sauce, I yell at her They are Two Different Companies you Moron!
