Crippling anxiety and tons of bills edition

does the anxiety come from fucked up test or what

>> No.9559613

Hard to say. No one here is a doctor and even if they are you should take it as a LARP at best. A lot of behavioural issues in men are caused by low test, though. Much is mental, much is also hormonal. The only way to really increase your testosterone is to take hormones/steroids on prescription or to try natural methods like lifting weights and taking fish oil. You're also posting in a /ck/ alcoholism thread so your nutrition is probably totally fucked, try taking a good multi vitamin as well.

Now I'm not employed and have enough money to live for a while, start a business or take an adventure and have a year or so off. I just can't get motivated to do it. I don't know what I'm doing.
I sit here on the couch, day after day, shitposting online until it becomes late enough in the afternoon that I feel I can start drinking then wake up the next day and repeat. I feel like I'm too old to be so aimlessly stuck nowhere but I don't know what the fuck to even do. Depends. One would assume that with extended longevity than there would presumably be an extended period of functional adulthood before the body begins breaking down due to the aid of modern medicine. Seems like plenty of healthy, active (and usually wealthy) live seemingly fine lives right up until 80 before they start becoming old. For our generation, provided care and healthy lifestyle are taken, that could end up being 90 when people start feeling and acting old.

Jesus christ, anon. Really? You're really asking this question?

You put the beer in a container full of ice. Ideally, a cooler. Yes your bucket will work. No you don't need water.

Coworkers are saying pretend it didn’t happen and I think I’m gonna do that but still I made a fool out of myself now and there’s no going back

This may not be the root of your sleeping problem, but ear plugs may help. There's a brand of soft ear plugs that you can wear every night that don't irritate your ears (normal ear plugs will irritate your ears if you wear every night). Helps me anyway because my room "collects" noise from inside and outside. Sucks because it's a great room/house otherwise. But the ear plugs help me sleep much better.

It's technically called "weizenbock", which is strong wheat beer. It's better and stronger-tasting than normal wheat beer, and 7.something% alc instead of 4.5-5%. The actual name is Vitus (Weihenstephaner Vitus). I think the pilsner and double bock are my favs from that brand, but they're all good, like I said. Just try all of them they have at the store.

It's probably the most consistent German beer you get in most American stores. Like if you buy pilsner or oktoberfest beer from another German brand, it's likely not as good as Weihenstephaner's version. Sure they have better >microbrews in Deutschland though.

If you want to use sugar, put a sugar cube on top of the slotted instrument they might give you with the bottle (or you might have to buy separately) and set that on top of the serving glass which should be fairly small. Drip water on top of the cube drop by drop until the sugar dissolves through the spoon into the absinth, and then give it a stir and drink it. Sure. But given that both drinking booze and diarrhea dehydrate you, you had better be drinking a fuckload of water, gatorade, etc.

>And does it help against headaches?
Depends on what caused the headache. If it is from withdrawals or a hangover then yeah, it will help temporarily. If it's from something else it might numb the pain a bit but it won't "fix" it.

Part of management is delegation.
Figure out who your top 10 clients are and how much they spend as a percentage of your turnover, but more importantly as part of your profit, concentrate on the top three, pass off all other clients to some other wankstain and tag him along with a wage rise related to performance.
Never guarantee someone lift more than once ever.
Secretaries, basically old bunny boilers with a cat and no life are very effective with established client once they know the business, employing more staff is risky but could you hire some you know in a secretary/HR/Compliance client capacity it would be most cost effective.
I am assuming business has been going for more than 5 years.
With the other clients that's why you offer bonuses to sales to grow your business.
And a sales manager/accountant to keep them in check so you don't lose money.

As an owner you shouldn't be chasing new business as much as growing your existing customers and even using them to gather more business depending on your industry.

And if you do want to get wasted, phone in the job work from home, hire someone as a manager and turn in 1-2 time a week sober.

Good luck

And isn't binging and quitting the quickest way to brain damage?

I’m not sure about the quitting and binging causing brain damage. I have seems anons on here talk about the kindling effect on the brain that actually is true, but I am not sure if it can cause sognificant brain damage.

Here is how kindling has working for me with being able to easily get to this stage of minor withdrawal...
Basically, since I have been through withdrawal so many times, I get the vivid dreams and increased sex drive, paired with feeling amazing in the mornings, by only drinking heavily for 3 days, meaning about a pint to a fifth of vodka a day. Then I can slowly taper off, but still be in a state of minor withdrawal for about a week. Since I am not going into an extreme withdrawal, I think the brain damage shouldn’t be too great. The significant brain damage (i assume but am not certain) comes from people who drink heavily for months to years, then stop.. go through absolute hell, perhaps even delirium tremens and seizures, yet continue to continue this cycle over and over.

Keeping that much beer down would be unnecessarily uncomfortable, and it’d just drag and drag on and on; always in a state of mild tipsiness, frustrated that I can’t catch a proper buzz from the shotgun of ethanol to the brain which is provided by vodka. I think some people are just genetically predisposed to suffer worse withdrawals than others. When I tried to quit I had my doctor telling me to only drink whenever I felt myself trembling or sweating too much, yet I was doing that while still drinking. It was impossible to find a rhythm of drinking which kept withdrawals at bay while decreasing my alcohol intake. The only way I could prevent myself from withdrawing was to drink more than the day before. In the end I just got used to the shakes and used my discretion as to how badly I was withdrawing and how often I needed to drink in order to not die.

What's not working with tapering? You end up drinking too much?
Try beer, it helps. Try only buying what you intend to drink and hide your money in a timed locker or something.

Alternatively, get benzo (see a doc, usually an addictologist at a rehab, but any complaisant doc will do). Just switch from alcohol to benzo and taper them instead.
It's as addictive as alcohol, so don't get addicted to them, you have to taper them relatively fast. You'll have some withdrawals but not too bad (tapering alcohol is the same).

I went to the point where I could experience both withdrawals and drunkenness. I don't know if it's genetic or if I had reached a crazy level of alcoholism.
Rehab wasn't fun.

>sugar
Honey seems to make me feel a bit better when I’m withdrawing. I’ve had people in these threads recommended sugar. Not sure why it helps, I thought maybe it’s the malnutrition; I don’t eat more than a couple of times a week if I’m drinking, and can’t even keep water down if I’m withdrawing. A year ago I was so underweight I could see my liver protruding beneath my rib cage.
Too drunk to say whatever else I was going to say. I think I had an intradesting follow up point, but I’m high on lorazepam and tramadol, I’m drunk, and I’ve smashed my bong open to get to the oils, so I’m kinda cosy and high right now, brain is on strike, I’m probably blacked out right now and won’t realise it until I wake up tomorrow with no memory of this night.

that's like saying that prosthetic are terrible for your legs because all the amputees have them.

You conveniently omitted the "almost" that qualified "totally benign." I do believe marijuana can be a little harmful, both physically and mentally, (and kratom even less harmful) but the point is just that alcohol is obv much much worse, but govts let you literally kill yourself with it.

Well I don't disagree with that.

You sound too wrecked. Like you’ll fall asleep if you stop drinking, and be too wasted if you carry on. I’d give up if I were you. Unless maybe you have a few rocks of crack handy.

Anyone ever tried upgrading their piss bucket? I was thinking about installing a small water feature pump, with pipe routed out of the window. That way I wouldn’t have to wake in the night to find the bucket full, then trip over it trying to empty it.
As for shitting, I was thinking about crapping in pizza boxes, then putting them in a freezer next to the bed, to be dealt with when it’s full,
Is this the rolls royce of piss buckets, or is this a step too far in the direction of total hopelessness? So conflicted

How small is your piss bucket? A normal bucket is like 10 liters, you surely don't piss that much.

I found out I have kidney disease today.

I was wondering why my urine smelled like ammonia.

The magic number apparently is 7 years of daily heavy drinking

19 years old and can't resist a drink at night. I find being sober so fucking boring. I'm going through 6 packs of beer each day and it's getting too expensive, probably gonna switch to the bottle.
