Perhaps you have a good reason to think that the lettuce and tomato are soggy, I however do not because cba watching video, but if I was to make a burger, I'd either put the lettuce/tomato on fresh, or lightly dress the salad and dry sear the tomatos, and the seasoning wouldn't harm the bun.

Either way, the bottom bun would likely be toasted, and it's a wide preference to put butter on toasted bread for it to drip through and moisten the toasted bread.
