No, this stratagy helps a lot, but it's still not absolute. If you're a manlet, or especially a womanlet, with a big appitite you still need to be aware of how much you're eating for that one meal.

For example, if I went to the Cheesecake Factory and just ate a meal there and a slice of cheesecake, that could easily add up to two days worth of calories for me depending on what I got. Just this monstrosity in pic related is almost two days worth of calories for me.
