>1. Bring water to a rolling boil on stovetop kettle.
>2. Grind 2 Tbs of beans using a burr grinder, grain-size is similar to that used for espresso.
>3. Dump coffee into inverted Aeropress (plunger set at 3). Pour boiling water into Aeropress until filled. Heat coffee mug with boiling water too.

Since there's no /tea/ general i'll report here from another board, not mine but it might interest you

So far i bought two teas from ebay and waiting for third.

First was "2016yr White Moonlight 100g Raw Puer Tea Cake Yunnan Ancient Trees Pu-erh Tea"
It costed me 8usd by that time now its little more expensive. It was my second proper tea I ever bought and at first I had unrealistic expectations so I was bit disapointed but the more tea I drink I'm coming back to this one and starting to apretiate it more and more. If i had to explain it's flavour on tea from teabags it's similar to black tea but not as strong and has this nice apricot smell to it. Right now it's my goto tea when I just want to chill. Now I got about 30g left so I'm probably going to buy more but even higher quality. Oh and I bought almost the same tea for yunnan sourcing but bit more expensive and it tastes like garbage. Like glue or something just bleh. Never again.

Second is "2017 100% Organic Taiwan High Mountain Jin Xuan Milk Oolong Tea Loose Supreme".
This tea has such strong smell that it punches your nose imidiately after unpacking. I never experienced anything like that. It has this strong sugary and milky smell. Like if you put sugar into warm milk I guess. It has the same aroma after brewing but taste is more natural. Like oolong. If you never tasted oolong before its something between green and black tea.. honestly hard to explain.

RIght now I'm waiting for "Supreme Organic Wuyi LaoCong Shui Xian Shui Hsien ShuiXian Chinese Oolong Tea".

My digestive system must be fucked to hell and back, but 7/10 times I get legendary shits from even just two sips of coffee. Sometimes I'm completely fine no matter how much I drink, though. Anyone else have this problem and know how to avoid it? I'm not lactose intolerant or anything, I got tested.

Italians have mokas at home not because they think it's better or even comporable to espresso but because they just go to the bar for espresso. Some folks like moka better because they're used to it and they find espresso too strong but generally it's understood there's no comparison between espresso and moka.

I usually make instant coffee because I'm poor.

Girlfriend just got a job at Starbucks. She doesn't like coffee that isn't 90% sugar. She's giving me the free bag of beans they get every week. What tools do I need to buy to put this to best use? I know the phrase "french press". I think it presses beans probably.

Properly brewed Turkish is not bitter; it's the proper presentation of the coffee's flavor.

Just don't use very darkly roasted beans, and don't use too many grinds until you become accustomed to the crema. Unless you own a proper pump-driven espresso machine, you won't ever go back except for convenience's sake.
