Not in my opinion.

It's expensive because it can be sold as muh exotic meat but it's really just a byproduct of hunting gators for their skins.

The only exotic meat (not commonly hunted)that I think is amazing is kangaroo wish I can get more of it but that's what I get for living in the UK.

Not only is eating predators not ecologically sustainable, they are often not worth it taste wise.
Gator is rubery if you're curious, kinda like shark.
