Cracker thread?
I am wondering the best way to cook crackers. What are some cook recipes you've come up with. I figure the ingredients are simple enough you can add interesting spin on a good base recipe.

Also how the fuck would one make a home made triscut?

I make the Southern classic only once or twice a year. Pecans are like the drought-priced holiday nut of $$$$ the last few years, so I got out of the habit of giving them as gifts.

Southerrn Cheese Crackers are 1/3rd butter, 1/3rd shard cheddar cheese, 1/3rd flour, pinch of cayenne. You roll the dough into logs, chill, and then slice into discs, and top with a pecan half. They are good hot from oven, or cooled. The nut gets toasty golden.
The recipe is the same for using other cheese, from gorgonzola to gouda, can vary the nuts.
