I got a scooter that I'm working on, and it's been really helpful with keeping me busy and keeping a drink out of my hand at home. I've decided to start working on my sleep schedule and hopefully making it so I dont need booze to sleep. I feel like things are doing alright. I'm super stoked on getting this bike running.

Guessing someone is dipping her toe in the water to gauge how /b/ al/ck/ might become should, god forbid, some people here have too few penises for 4chan. I think al/ck/ is mature enough to handle it once a few horny shitposters have been weeded out, and we can all be friends without the need to constantly try and fuck each other. These threads have been a godsend for me. I'd like it if they were less anon and we could provide a stronger support structure by way of knowing more about each other. Like AA but not shit. Project moderation officially failed, lads.

Found myself having to drink liquor this morning to calm my hands before facing people. Kindling is no joke, fucking withdrawals after two days of boozing, although they were still mild.

I was fine with beer, liquor ruined it. I'm going to taper again, stick to pissy lager once in a while and generally focus on healthy living and smoke a bit of weed when I feel like it.

I've considered this. Fuck knows why booze doesn't have B1 added at the very least. Especially the shit which is almost exclusively drunk by alchies; the string ciders and lagers, and the cheap vodkas etc. I'd do it but the corporate cunts make it impossible. To have a distillery at home for personal use, I need licenses, insurance, an approved property in which to use it, and to not only report every drop I produce, but to take it to be inspected and approved. To distill my first pint of vodka would cost around £45,000. To sell it? Impossible. You need to be a millionaire and be will to fight those who currently own the market, just to be legal. Today was a struggle. I drank heavily Friday night, woke up and worked my ass off all day Saturday, then went out and drank heavily again that night as a celebration for my birthday, drank all day Sunday, literally from the time I woke up until late that night during which I finished almost an entire bottle of gin. Had taken Monday off in advance, so I finished the last bit of gin, then passed out for a few hours, ate some food, threw it up, ate more food, didn't drink more until like 10 last night during which I had four white claws. Woke up this morning going through some withdrawals...nothing too crazy, just foggy and weak and tired. Had to sit at the doctor's office for a couple hours waiting on some results that came back well....drank two white claws on the way to work, took an hour lunch and had two more, now at home smoking weed and finally feeling a little better. Gotta take a break after today, already got rid of all the liquor in the house.

Up until two months ago I was a functioning alcoholic, meaning I would drink myself to sleep every night.

Then I met the most incredible woman and facing her in the morning with a hangover just became too much trouble. So, I've been sober for two months and I've never felt better. I've dropped 10 lbs, and my dick gets hard again.

Not saying I will never drink again, but damn! Love does some funny things to you...

You need to realise and want to be sober for yourself. Sounds corny but it's true, if you're not doing it for yourself you're in trouble.

Coming off what seems like a 5 week long coke binge, with opiates, benzos, amphetamines, muscle relaxants, and good 'ol booze mixed in there. I seem to be in the depressed, anxious, lethargic, having green-bile diarrhea every hour phase. It's about two in the afternoon, so time to have another beer.

That'll be beer number 4 of the day, where my usual is about 15 light beers a day. The 'lism becomes a lot more manageable by taking the hard stuff out of the equation, as well as full flavored beers. Just that smaller amount of alcohol to water ratio in light beer has me waking up a little bit more clearheaded.

Obviously, I can't keep doing this to myself. But come Friday, I guess we'll start the whole cycle again for at least the drinking part of my drug use.
