How do I into Mac and cheese?
Should I buy a kit from the shop or make it from scratch?
Bake it?
Any tips and tricks?

Make a roux, add cheese and heavy cream, dump it over your pasta, cover in panko flakes. Add bacon if you want, it's not a meme with Mac and cheese it's just really good.

Elbow Macaroni. Melt a half brick of Velveeta in a quarter gallon of milk for the cheese sauce goodness. This would be ok on it's own but we need to go further. Crumble four strips of bacon and add to the mac. Crush a bag of Doritos until turned to dust and add to the mac. Next go to Little Caesars and buy the cheapest actual food item on their menu. Ask the Little Caesars employee for zap packs, these are what you want. Once home add the zap packs to the Mac. Last step is to cover the top with cheddar cheese and place in the oven until the cheese on top is golden brown. Congrats! you've made the most unhealthy yet best tasting mac & cheese on the planet. Have a nice day.

If a recipe has you making a roux and theres no oven involved, thats an immediate red flag for a shitty Mac and cheese

I dump my pasta in some heavy cream, little bit of vegetable broth....add parm & gouda, stir to ideal consistency...cover with some amish cheddar and place under broiler until i get a nice crisp top

Basically what >>9237417 said is the base, you can add whatever the fuck you want after. I like adding paprika powder. Also boil a few eggs and mash them in like you would in a potato salad. You'll thank me later
