Let's talk about drinks. What are some refreshing mixed summer drinks?

Water mixed with sprite

Mojito is always damn good. Kind of a pain for the bartender to make though, so I don't order it often. Pina Colada is also something that makes the heat bearable.

Great summer cocktails include:
The mojito, Gin and Tonic, Tom Collins, Daiquiri (the original, not the thing people make in blenders now), Margarita (again the original, not the blended one), Cape Cod.
Generally, anything with clear liquor, citrus, and carbonation on ice does well in the heat.
If you are feeling contrarian, try a nice glass of Brandy and Benedictine (or wait until it is cold as shit).

If the bartender had a problem making cocktails they wouldn't be a bartender.
Stop being a faggot and order your gay drink.

Tell this 24 year old alchohol virgin what's the best gin for mixed drinks.

I do not recommend gin to alcohol virgins. I pound cheap vodka shots without a chaser all the time, but I have to mix gin with tons of Sprite to make it even slightly palatable.

Gin is good don't listen to that guy yuou just need to loosen your pallet. I like Gordon's but that's just me there are better ones. I hear beefeater is fine. Make yourself a gimlet to start out with. You'll love them and slowly learn to love the taste of gin. Eventually you'll move on to gin and tonic.
