Can any New Yorkers recommend any good vegan restaurants? I'm open to any suggestions, thank you. :)

Harlem has a good one on 116th

Lower East side has some jems.

Basically stick to yuppies, rastas, Ethiopians and Buddhists.

I've never been to New York but if I were there I would definitely want to go to Candle 79 and Dun-Well Donuts.

I went to By Chloe in Los Angeles and everything was amazing. Apparently Chloe Coscarelli got fired by her own business because she didn't want them to start selling animal products under her name though, so if you don't want to support assholes I wouldn't go there. Food is still bomb though I'm sure, and at least it's still vegan.

By Chloe is basically an upgraded version of what dumb flyovers think is good vegan food. LA being the epitome of the flyover mindset laboring under the erroneous misapprehension that it's sophisticated because it's near a body of water (see also, Texas)

Good vegan food: Cinnamon Snail, Kajitsu, or just go to a decent Indian joint in Curry Hill where there are vegan options.

> vegan

if you hate food so much, why are you going to restaurants?
